New clients
Your first visit, start to finish.
Here's what to bring, what happens in the room, and how we handle the parts people worry about.
Before you come
- Call us at 949-695-7928 to book. Online booking is coming with opening day.
- Send prior records to info@seacountryvet.com, or ask your previous clinic to. Vaccine history matters most.
- Note what you've noticed: appetite, water, bathroom habits, anything new. Photos and videos help more than you'd think.
- Bring any medications or supplements your pet takes, in their containers.
What to bring
- Dogs on a leash; cats and small pets in a carrier
- A fresh stool sample if you can manage it (within 24 hours)
- Your pet's favorite treats, so we can make friends
In the exam room
Plan on 30 to 40 minutes for a first visit. A technician will take a history and vitals, then the doctor will do a nose-to-tail exam and talk through what they find. If we recommend tests or treatment, you'll see an itemized estimate and we'll wait for your okay before anything happens.
Paying
Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash and all major credit and debit cards. If you're planning for a larger procedure, ask us about third-party financing options when you book.
If you can't make it
Call and let us know as early as you can. That slot almost always goes to a pet who needs it.
